We are hoping Dunmore Council stays true to its promise to hire an environmental attorney and spend the money required, which was noted by Council as at least $200,000 in the meeting minutes from 9/22/2014.
The full minutes can be found online at: http://www.dunmoreborough.org/council.htm
Here is an excerpt:
I understand. So I’m again operating under the assumption that you guys are going to vote this [Agreement with KSL] through tonight so we will then be getting a dollar [per ton] come December 1st, 2014, which would increase our rate from about $900,000 every year to 2.5 million which to me would then say, Hey, I now have an additional 1.2 million to hire an environmental attorney on behalf of the Council.
